The Guntersville Wildcats fell to Arab in overtime by a score of 50-48.
The Wildcats started the home game off strong, taking a 31-22 lead into the half, but the Knights surged back in the last two quarters.
The Wildcats hit 41.3 percent of field goals as a team, 36.4 percent of three pointers, and 57.1% of free throws.
Darrel Jackson led the team in scoring with 19 points, followed by Justin Staten with 11.
Guntersville split a set of four games at the end of the holiday break, beating Columbia 58-51 and Plainview 75-58, while losing to Oneonta 50-44 and Decatur 54-35.
The Wildcats will travel to DAR on Friday and then to Albertville on Monday. Tipoff is scheduled for 7:30pm for both games.
In celebration of the opening of construction on new hatchery and administration buildings at the Claude Peteet Mariculture Center in Gulf Shores, Gov.
