Strike King team wins Crappie Masters Qualifier

The Bass Pro Shops Crappie Masters National Qualifier held at Lake Guntersville on May 21st had beautiful weather and a great turnout.

The Strike King duo of Tim Blackley and Jackie Vancleave of Tennessee won first place and $4000 in the tournament weighing in 12.36 pounds on seven fish.

Tim and Cathy Langham took second place, $2000, a $100 gift card from Bass Pro Shop and top male-female honors. The husband and wife team weighed in 11.96 pounds.

Humminbird sponsored team James Clark and Tracy Purdy took third place and $1000 weighing in 11.74 pounds.

Gary Stephens and Terry Rutherford took home the Top Big Fish award for weighing in a 2.38-pound crappie.

Johnny Walker and Wade Walker got the Second Big Fish award for weighing in a 2.35-pound crappie.

Rob and Jordan Wall from the Georgia Slab Masters Crappie Club took home Top adult-youth team and fourth place overall weighing in 11.68 pounds.
