Athletes looking to improve their speed and agility are encouraged to register for a Speed Camp hosted by Snead State Community College and D1 Huntsville on July 30.
The camp will take place at the baseball field on Snead State’s Boaz campus.
Participants ages 10-14 will attend from 8-9:30 a.m., and participants ages 15-and-up will participate from 10-11:30 a.m.
The cost is $25 for those who register prior to Saturday and $40 who register after the deadline or on the day of the camp.
The first 100 athletes to register will receive a limited edition D1 T-shirt.
During the Speed Camp, athletes will lean how to use every possible advantage to increase speed and agility. They will learn how to apply the proper amount of force to the ground to get explosive movement in any direction.
