The Guntersville AquaCats finished out the 2011 season with three individual State Champions and a 9th place finish overall.
The individual state champions were Cade Dollar in the 11-12 boys one meter diving, Nicky Erwin in the 13-14 boys 50 yard freestyle and Mark Payne in the 9-10 boys 50 yard breaststroke.
Guntersville’s 9th overall finish was out of a total of 27 teams from across the state.
Four of the eight teams that placed ahead of Guntersville were Madison, Scottsboro, Cullman and Boaz, all of which are in Guntersville’s district and each team also ranked ahead of Guntersville at the district meet two weeks ago.
