The Lake City Civitans recognized the great service provided to the Community by the Guntersville Rescue Squad as part of the Civtan’s January 11 lunch meeting. Frank Myers, President of the Guntersville Rescue

Squad was the guest speaker at the meeting and gave a report to the attendees on the accomplishments and services that the Rescue Squad provides to the community.

Following Franks report, Ralph Dorsch , President of the Lake Civitans, presented a Civitans check in the amount of $500 to Mr. Myers for the Rescue Squad.

The Lake City Civitans continue to support numerous needy civic organizations and causes in the Community. Major fund raisers by the Lake City Civitans include its yearly fall Pumpkin Patch sales, donations from individuals, as well as the Pancake Day breakfast sale, with the Knights of Columbus, held at Saint Williams’s parish hall. The later event is scheduled for Saturday February 4th .
