James Mathews ~ Age 84 ~ Entered into rest Tuesday, October 25, 2011 at Gadsden Regional Medical Center.

His funeral service will held Friday, October 28, 2011 at 11:00 AM from the graveside at Huntsville Memory Gardens. The visitation will be held Thursday, October 27, 2011 from 6:00 pm till 8:00 pm. Interment will be held at Huntsville Memory Gardens with Pastor Michael Hingle officiating.

Survivors include; Wife ~ Etta Mae Mathews of Guntersville; Cousins ~ Maureen (Bill) Peters of Evans, GA, Dick Clanton of New York, Harold Mathews and Buddy Hankins of Arab, Becky (Mike) Service of Atlanta, GA and Beverly (Jeff) Bella of Evans, GA and his lifetime Hunting and Fishing Buddy, Eddie Cornelius of Claysville.

Pallbearers will be: Eddie Cornelius, Bryan Cornelius, Jason Cornelius and Mike King.
