
Guntersville Police have four people in custody after officers uncovered a 1-pot meth lab during a routine traffic stop on Highway 431 North.
Police stopped the red Subaru Legacy just north of the river bridge around 5:30 pm Tuesday afternoon.
Officers spotted drug paraphernalia in clear view and after further investigation the drug manufacturing system was discovered.
The occupants of the car were charged with manufacturing a controlled substance and unlawful possession of chemicals to make meth.
Police say that the 1-pot meth labs are becoming more common and harder to detect due to there small size and portability.
