Friday 3/26/10 – Police were called to a local lounge on top of the mountain in Guntersville after a man inside the bar threatened other customers and staff and refused to leave. A 54 year old Guntersville man was arrested and charged with public intoxication.

Saturday 3/27/10 – A 37 year old Crossville man was arrested and charged with third degree theft by deception. Police were called after the man was apparently observed shoplifting razor blades from a local store.

Saturday 3/27/10 – A 22 year old female from Galesville was arrested for public intoxication in the parking lot of a shopping center on Hwy 431 on top of the mountain after police received a report of a woman passed and unresponsive inside a vehicle. After further investigation officers determined the woman was under the influence of alcohol.

Saturday 3/27/10- Police were called to the 1200 block of Obrig Ave after receiving a report of several males breaking into an abandoned house through a boarded up window. After police arrived and found the subjects, further investigation revealed that one of the men possessed drugs. A 21 year old male was arrested on charges of possession of marijuana with the intent to sell/distribute and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Sunday 3/28/10 – Police responded to a domestic violence call with the city limits of Guntersville.

Guntersville Police also worked a total of 8 auto accidents over the past week, including two pedestrian related accidents.
