Kevin and Kim Elliot reopened Mama’s in August 9th, 2010. The original store was run by Chris and Sherry Roach but they have moved to open another Mama’s over in the Huntsville Hospital. The new Mama’s reopened at the original location of 1924 Gunters Avenue next to Haralson Discount Drugs.

Reservations can be made for private parties and catering events by calling Mama’s at 256-486-9000. They are also found on Facebook athttp://facebook.com/mamasgville. Like their page to begin getting notices of special events or discounts.

Mama’s provides “pizza, pasta, subs and salads” at affordable prices. Guests can come by and order from the menu, which includes the same recipes as the original Mama’s, or enjoy pizza by the slice specials each day. There are also specialty desserts available. Get your order of bread pudding or tiramisu to enjoy in-house or to take home for later.

Hours at Mama’s:

Monday thru Thursday: 11 am to 8 pm

Friday: 11 am to 9 pm

Saturday: 4 pm to 9 pm

Catering and special events are available. Kids can celebrate their birthdays at Mama’s with a “Make your own pizza, party.” Each child is given dough to cover with toppings of their choice. The pizzas are cooked up and served while the kids learn dough tossing techniques. This unique experience is only $6 per child and reservations are required.

Private parties can also be held in Mama’s. The main dining area seats up to 36 people. Mama’s will work with you to give you the meal you need for your unique event experience.

Kevin Elliot has been working in hospitality for most of his career. He was raised in the New Orleans area and was influenced in profession choice by the culinary mark that region has made. He trained under Sherry Roach to perfect the nuances of Italian cuisine.
