Marshal County Elks Lodge # 2869, is proud to announce that 5 of their 7 Most Valuable Student Scholarship applicants have advanced to the District level. This is Marshall County Lodge's first year to participate in the Scholarship Program. We would like to thank the Guidance Counselors of Marshall County's High Schools for assisting their students with this process.

The Elks National Foundation provides more than $3.64 million in college scholarships each year through its three scholarship programs.

The Elks National Foundation will award a total of $2.296 million to this year’s 500 finalists in the Most Valueable Student Scholarship. Top awards range from $60,000 to $8,000 over four years. Four hundred and eighty-two runners up receive $4,000 scholarships.

The Most Valuable Student scholarship contest, is open to any high school senior who is a US Citizen. Applications are judged on scholarship, leadership and financial need.
